Terms of use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ComfortAI website, waitlist, and related offerings (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

ComfortAI is a supportive AI companion intended to help people living with diabetes with everyday guidance such as meal context, reminders, and gentle coaching.

ComfortAI is not a medical device, doctor, or emergency service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult your healthcare team for medical decisions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Joining the waitlist expresses interest in ComfortAI. Waitlist spots and early access are not guaranteed. We may change availability, timing, or features of early access at our discretion. Emails you provide will be used as described in our Privacy Policy.

Founding membership purchases are processed through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to pay the stated price and any applicable taxes. Benefits described on the site (such as lifetime access or priority features) apply to the ComfortAI product as it becomes available and may evolve as we ship.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, founding membership fees are non-refundable. If you believe there was an error with your purchase, contact hello@comfortai.app.

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt or compromise its security
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the Service beyond normal use
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Rely on ComfortAI as a substitute for professional medical care

The Service, including its design, branding, text, and software, is owned by ComfortAI or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content except as allowed by these Terms or with our written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that guidance will meet your specific health needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ComfortAI and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you have not paid us.

We may update these Terms or modify the Service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or end access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the offering.
